We are immediately looking for a full-time Logistical support / Assistent Logistics employee!

You will be monitoring the inbound shipments into our external warehouse, making sure Purchase Orders reflect correct arrival date and prioritizing the unloading of incoming containers based on when product is needed for customer orders.

You will support the incoming and outgoing flow of products and communicate with various departments in case of changes to the schedule.

At the plant, you will be part of our local planning team, but you will also have contact with logistics, our distribution centre in Rotterdam, customer service, warehouses and colleagues in other countries, where IFF has production sites or warehouse facilities.

You are reporting to the Logistics Manager.

As your workplace is in Ieper you are able to have open communication with the Ieper Plant Manager and other departments

The job you will manage, requires an eye for detail, but at the same time you must also be able to have the full overview of the end to end supply chain.

Job requirements

  • Compare dates, update orders when applicable
  • Prioritize unloading of containers if needed
  • Keep Customer Service informed of changes
  • Monitor receipt process for incoming shipments
  • Support warehouse team at distribution centre
  • Monitor Non-Productive Inventory

Technical skills / Education requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Expert in MS Office 365, especially Excel
  • SAP experience (or willing to learn through training)
