About the job

  • Accounting & Finance Department is responsible for all accounting, finance, reporting and taxation activities for entities in The Netherlands.
  • Cash management activities for the company, 20 bank accounts including weekly cash forecasting, internal fund transfers, monitoring of bank transactions and monthly reporting, accounting in SAP ERP system and other cash management activities to ensure appropriate funding for all operational activities.
  • First contact point for internal and external bank operations and accounting activities including annual external “Know your client” and audit requests, new bank account set-up, user set-up and other bank operations to ensure the external online bank setup is maintained appropriately.
  • Provide input and support for special projects, including corporate finance, new business development activities and other projects.
  • If/when required, external loan management including payment arrangements, internal reporting, accounting in ERP system and reconciliations.
  • Intercompany loan management for all entities, including loan renewals, preparing loan documentation, internal directors approvals, monthly accounting in SAP ERP system and reconciliations.
  • On- and offshore insurance activities, onshore policy renewals and reporting with external parties, cost allocations for on- and offshore policies, accounting in SAP ERP system and monthly reconciliations.
  • Assist with the annual renewal of the offshore insurance package of the company in Europe, collecting relevant data from internal and external stakeholders to ensure appropriate offshore insurance coverage.

Job requirements

  • Minimum bachelor’s in business economics
  • Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience in a technical environment (preferably the oil & gas industry)
  • Knowledge of energy insurance and online banking activities beneficial
  • Self-starter/ able to work independently
  • Pro-active, service minded and result oriented
  • Accurate report and good analytic skills
  • Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Fluent in Dutch and English language (verbal and written), both mandatory
