What exactly are you going to do

To assess and provide resolution for insurance claims against the terms and conditions of the varying policies, from initial assessment through to resolution and fulfillment. The department is constantly evolving and you will be joining a motivated, pro-active team whose aim is to deliver outstanding customer experience.

  • Assess all claims within a timely manner
  • Constantly strive to improve the customer experience
  • Accuracy of all tasks with excellent attention to detail
  • Take ownership of every call to avoid escalating to a Team Manager
  • Recommend suggestions within process and procedures that impact people & customers
  • Responding to internal and external customer emails in a professional manner
  • Accurate processing of customer documentation
  • Logging and processing payments to customers
  • Ensure all company policy and procedures are adhered to
  • Carry out additional duties as required by the business
  • Assess customer claims on MPI, Gadget and where else required
  • Speak to customers via outbound and inbound telephone calls

· Direct contract with the company
· Working 2 days in office (Amsterdam) and 3 days from home – can be more flexible for the right person
· 38 hours full time over 5 days between Monday and Friday. Operational open hours are from 09.00 and 18.00 and Saturday 09.00 – 17.00

  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in both English and Dutch
  • Ability to multi-task, assess priorities and competently handle a variety of activities with a high-degree of accuracy in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Flexible to adapt to changing priorities
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
  • MBO level
  • Knowledge of General Insurance an advantage
  • Self-development of knowledge using internal sources
  • End to end claims journey knowledge is an advantage
