In this full time job as CI manager you'll support your supervisor in the daily tasks.

these are some of your tasks:

  • Liaising closely with CI Group Manager to fully understand the business priorities for V2M within the specific category in a given region.
  • Full project management of Consumer Research in support of proactive and commercial fragrance projects to ensure the programmes successfully contribute to sales growth and increased win rate. This includes study design, coordination of fieldwork, data analysis, written and oral communication of results.
  • Working closely CI Group Manager and Regional CI & Mkt Director to ensure the category CI strategy is successfully implemented and leads to increased sales and improved win rate.
  • Understanding the marketplace, technology, and consumer dynamics in the relevant geographic or category areas of responsibility. To provide a source of expertise (proactive and reactive) internally and to customers in these areas.
  • As a CI lead to contribute to the strategic and tactical direction of consumer research programs regionally. To play a full part in leading or participating in cross functional project teams.
  • Consumer Research Design: Define research approach to deliver against learning needs or customer
    validation requirements (focused on validation & creation)
  • Identified Insights & Customer Opportunities: Generate outputs and recommendations for creative design next steps. Define areas for creation improvements. Identify need gaps or un met needs to define customer opportunities / ad hoc Value Propositions
  • Customer presentations/workshops/events: Develop & Present to both internal and external customers outputs and recommendations for next steps (focused on global/key regional)
  • Customized Value Proposition: Define insights and benefits in conjunction with marketing teams
  • Cross fertilization between categories: Build cross category connections and share insights generated from V2M initiatives, export best practices and trickle-down value propositions from one category to another & sharing
  • Budget management: Manage CI budget ensuring maximization of investments within budget availability

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in preferably Business, Statistics, Psychology or related Behavioral Sciences
  • At least 5 years’ knowledge and experience using consumer tools and statistics and working together with research agencies.
  • Strong working knowledge of word processing and database software and statistical packages
  • 7 to 10 years’ of experience in Consumer Research with full project management responsibility in a relevant industry
  • Strong teamwork and customer orientation skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
