About the job

As a customer service agent you are the first point of contact for customers in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. The customer experience is largely in your own hands. Thanks to your professionalism, you ensure that the customer experience invites, arouses curiosity and positively contributes to the service provision of the organization as a whole. The goal is to let the customers be ambassadors for the brand and the organisation. Your other activities consist of:

  • 1st line answering questions about the service;
  • You provide support to the customers;
  • You do both cross- and upselling;
  • You are responsible for the correct handling of complaints.

You will be working in the center of Maastricht, within walking distance of the Vrijthof. This organization has traditionally been a family organization and you can still notice that today. You will join a close-knit team where cooperation is paramount. In addition, you can count on the following employment conditions:

  • A gross salary ranging from €2349 to €2610 gross per month based on 40 hours;
  • You will participate in the bonus scheme, good work is rewarded!
  • Do you travel by public transport? Then you will be reimbursed for the full costs incurred;
  • Are you traveling by car? As long as the petrol price is above €1.80 per liter, you will receive €0.23 per kilometer made;
  • There is plenty of room for personal development.

Job requirements

We are looking for a (parttime/fulltime) customer service agent who can identify themselves in the following competencies:

  • You have an MBO/HBO work and thinking level;
  • You have a pleasant telephone voice;
  • Preferably you have experience in a customer contact position;
  • You have an excellent command of Dutch, both spoken and in writing;
  • You speak 2 foreign languages: English, French and/or German;
  • You are communicative and service-oriented;
  • You have empathy, you listen well and you can empathize well with the customer;
  • You are a team player;
  • You are familiar with modern communication channels such as Whatsapp, chat and social media.

About the company

This office, located throughout the Netherlands, offers customers the opportunity to buy, sell and pledge precious metals. In addition, customers can also exchange foreign currency, have valuations carried out and have objects auctioned. The company also has three of its own jewelers selling vintage and new jewelry. In addition, there are six mobile exchange offices on the road. The organization currently employs more than 300 colleagues and has more than 100 locations in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
