You, as a sales support employee are responsible for the communication with customers for shipment information of other important questions.
You manage orders, received into the factory, ensuring the customers’ expectations are met throughout the process to final delivery.
Your responsibilities summed up:
- You receive customer orders and process special requirements;
- You also plan the orders (based on capacity, given by production), to achieve the best possible dates;
- You discuss special requirements internally and liaise with customers;
- Order changes, you also process;
- You check progress of orders in production and advise customer of any ship date changes, so they are up to date;
- Support customers for any enquiries;
- Participate in continuous improvement projects. So the customers get the best service.
