About the job

For the customer service department we are looking for a temporary front office employee for the Italian and Benelux market. You will be responsible for timely completion of the milestones from order management and specific projects or activities within the team or department related to commercial supply chain. You will ensure optimal internal and external customer satisfaction in line with the company’s policies and procedures.

Besides that, you will be responsible for:

  • First point of contact for internal and external customers by phone and mail
  • Developing and maintaining good relationships with all customers
  • Exchanging complex information with customers to solve issues and support the customers in order to ensure satisfaction
  • Discussing, accepting, entering and following up on complaints
  • Executing track and trace on daily basis, following up on delays and handling reports
  • Executing return for all order types, credit and debit notes, following up for timely release
  • Setting up new customers
  • Handling and resolving service and transport issues
  • Identifying and initiating process improvements

Job requirements


  • Have minimum acquired MBO level 4
  • Are fluent in English and Italian
  • Preferably speak Dutch
  • Have related experience in customer service or sales
  • Are able to shift between tasks and work within a diverse and international group
  • Are experienced in working with automated systems (MS Office and preferably SAP)
  • Are a strong communicator
  • Are customer-oriented and problem-solving
  • Can prioritize well and escalate timely when necessary
