About the job

In this position, you will be responsible for the administrative processing of visitor registration and verifying company details. You will be the main contacts and answer all questions from visitors regarding their registration for the trade show. Answering/processing all requests (visitor registrations/phone calls/e-mails) for the trade show, and you will be helping the visitor department and office wide with additional administrative tasks.

Before and during the Trade Show;

  • Processing and verifying data from visitors found on the Internet and in documents submitted
  • Replying/answering questions from visitors regarding their attendance
  • Preparing reports, counts and overviews of registration
  • Checking and sending invoices
  • Replying/answering visitor questions regarding their attendance by e-mail & phone
  • Processing registration requests in our database
  • Helping the visitor department with administrative tasks
  • During the annual "World of Private Label" International Trade Show at the RAI Exhibition Centre, you will work in the PLMA Registration Centre onsite

After the Trade Show;

  • Confirming company details of visitors in permanent database
  • Helping the visitor department and office wide with any additional (administrative) tasks

Job requirements

Profile / Requirements:

  • You are accurate, service minded & you have good communicative skills
  • You have administrative (office) and customer service experience
  • You are comfortable defending terms & conditions to (difficult) visitors
  • You have experience in working with MS Office
  • Good understanding of HTML
  • You have an excellent command, both oral and written, of the English language and at least one of the following languages; German, Italian, Spanish or French
  • Your work and thinking capacity is at HBO level (or MBO level with strong work experience)
  • You can monitor and organize your own tasks and take responsibility for your own administration
  • You are capable of working independently as well as in a team
  • You can set priorities and work with deadlines
  • You have not planned any holidays in April and May 2020
