About the job

We are looking for a full time Financial Administrator who will work closely with direct colleagues, the common goal is the correct, timely and complete execution of all tasks within the financial administration department. A large part of this is payroll. You have a wide range of tasks in the financial administrative field. For example, the core tasks consist of: payroll; the accounting treatment of the financial data; providing information for the period closings; making period reports; processing purchase invoices; and the monitoring of debtor payments.

  • In possession of PDL
  • Handling time- sheets + salary administration
  • Must make up the (standard-) contracts for new employees, and responsible for the filing of all needed documents of “dossiers”.
  • First contact for sickness and will be monitoring (and follow the rules) of “Wet Poortwachter”. (affection with sick-leave).
  • Helping with posting Accounts Payables and Accounts receivables and or calling.

What we offer

As an administrator you will initially receive a secondment contract for at least 8 months from Unique.
You will receive 24 vacation days and 8.33% vacation pay.
You will also get access to our Unique Online Training Courses, where you can develop yourself further and take yourself to a higher level (including MS Office, Time Management and various commercial training courses). Then, if you perform well, you will receive a permanent contract with the client. The salary is between € 3,000-3,200 gross per month on a full-time 40 hours basis.

Job requirements

  • You have at least a completed financial MBO education or a proven work and thinking level .
  • Native Dutch and excellent English.
  • At least 2 years of work experience as a payroll administrator.
  • Accounting work experience (minimum 2 - 3 years).
  • You are numerically strong and you always work accurately.
  • You are hands-on, have an eye for detail and you work independently.
  • Have experience with MS office (Excel + Word + Outlook)
  • Need to know the difference between Debit and Credit in general ledger.
  • Experience with account payables and account receivables.
  • Someone who is busy with details (front of the processes till middle).
  • Experience at the beginning + middle/halfway of the process, not for the end
