About the job

Temporary position (Approximately 4 months with the possibility to extend) to cover a range of tasks but primarily to manage and administrate the Sickness and Special Leave within the company. In addition, supporting the onboarding of new employees.


  • Advise new employees on relevant local registration (e.g. NL: BSN number, town hall, etc.)
  • Manage and administrate the procedures for short and long-term sickness, and leave (including any special leave) and ensure the appropriate systems are kept up to date
  • Arbodienst registration and UWV reporting
  • Analysing incoming correspondence and documentation and managing distribution of outgoing correspondence and documentation
  • Preparing reports for payroll
  • Manage Maternity and Parental Leave administration
  • Administrate Special Leave
  • 30% application
  • Long term sickness process. Communication with Arbo; Weekly or bi-weekly phone call with employees on LT sickness. Update and submit the plan van aanpak to arbo concern. Update DCCM with relevant documentation.
  • Short-term sickness update to Client
  • UWV correspondence
  • Transfer relevant files to UWV

Job requirements

  • Experience with UWV process
  • Experience with processing leave and knows the types of regulatory leave in the Netherlands.
  • Understands the sickness process in the Netherlands
  • Knowledge about 30% ruling and has experience preparing an application.
  • You need to know how maternity leave works in the Netherlands, including an understanding of the deadlines.
  • You need to know the rules around parental leave, including the entitlement.
