For one of our International Clients in Schiedam, we are searching for an HR Assistant who is Fluent in Dutch and English.


  • Support the HR & Payroll Officers;
  • Recruitment local personnel;
  • Presence registration system management;
  • Sickness absence (de-)registration;
  • Invoice verification/check before submitting for approval to HRO Manager;
  • Maintain HRO Procurement Plan (contract/agreement management, invoices,
    service entries, delivery/work/purchase orders/requests and other relevant SAP
  • Administration personnel files.
  • Monthly timesheets (check/submission to relevant entity);
  • Expense claims check/submission (for payment);
  • General Services coordination;
  • Stationary items (monitor/ordering/keeping up-to-date);
  • Contact person for all items related to maintenance/services/facilities of the
  • Monitor and ensure the cleaning of the office (by cleaning company);
  • Office and kitchen facilities;
  • Keeping up-to-date all items related to General Services;
  • Supervision/backup/support of/for all reception activities;
  • Logistics coordination;
  • Travel/business trip arrangements for employees;
  • Travel administration and reporting (monitoring travel request forms and reporting
    the travel items periodically etc.);
  • Housing and school management for expats;

What do we offer you

  • Salary between 2500-2800 euros gross excl. 8% holiday allowance
  • 25 days of Holidays per year
  • 40 hours per week (Hybrid work set-up)
  • Travel costs reimbursement
  • You will receive a 1-year contract from the company with an intention of permanent employment
  • 50% net reimbursement for additional healthcare insurance
  • Pension fully paid

Job Requirements

  • Strong ability to work in a dynamic and ad-hoc environment (this is a must);
  • Able to work in team, without self-isolation;
  • Able to take initiative and to be proactive;
  • Integrity, reliability and accountability;
  • In possession of a driver’s license;
  • Respecting the sensitive/confidential/privacy data as per law, HRO and
    company standards;
  • Ability to prioritize the tasks/activities autonomously, planning and
  • rganizational skills;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English spoken and in writing;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
    and Vision etc.);
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution;
  • SAP knowledge is a pre;
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is a pre
