We are looking for a full time permanent Dutch HR Specialist for one of our clients in Rotterdam. As part of their HR Service Center Team you will serve as the first point of contact for the employees. HR Specialists are dedicated to answer all HR policy and employee related questions. You will record and track inquiries in the HR Ticket System from initiation through resolution to resolve the topics in a professional and timely manner. Payroll preparation is one important task each month.

Prepare and forward all relevant payroll documents to local payroll Manager and external payroll provider each month.
Act as first point of contact for incoming calls/emails/inquiries from employees and HR, with the goal to resolve topics on the first contact, maintain customer contact until the concern is resolved, including keeping customers informed of status and resolution.
Consult with employees and HR colleagues on policies and procedures (e.g. benefits, leave, retirement, compensation etc.)
Provide accurate, consistent, and timely responses to HR process, system and policy requests.
Educate employees on company practices and tools to encourage employees to resolve their requests by using the self-service functions
Timely processing of incoming HR tickets or allocation to appropriate SME’s in close cooperation and coordination with HR Representative/HR Ops Partner.
Owner of HR Ticket process, including Employee educating on the Ticket process, managing escalation, and closing cases.
System Maintenance and ensuring HR information systems and processes are up to date.
Maintaining and keeping employee files up to date.
Preparation of statistics, presentations, process manuals, new forms, etc.
Correspondence like offer letters, coding invoices etc.
Participation in local and global HR Projects.

Full time based on 40 hours p/w, 32 hours is possible.
Permanent position, you will receive a direct contract through the company.
Start date: immediately.
€ 2600-3500 gross per month dependig on experience.
You need to be at the office 2 times a week and the rest you can decide if you would like to work remotely.
Easy to access to the office by car and public transport, flexible with the day and hours.
HBO education or equivalent, preferably in Human Resources with at least 2 years’ experience in a related position
Up to date knowledge of Dutch labor law and preferably exposure to payroll
Experience with HR Systems: preferably SuccessFactors, SPM Platform from ADP, Paralax
Solid MS Office skills; especially in Excel
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters in a professional manner
A careful and structured working style, trustworthy, service orientated, accurate and reliable
On-schedule and independent working style as well as a high level of commitment and ability to work in a team
Strong communication skills at all levels of the hierarchy with solid Dutch and English language knowledge
