Job Purpose:
· responsible for the support of the Sales team in all applications related to Pipeline construction on a global basis.

Main Responsibilities:
· creation of proposals and quotations for rental, sales and associated services. Follow through to order and ensure customer satisfaction;
· maintain proposal and order administration;
· communication with the customer base both existing and new to discuss sales aspects both commercially and technically;
· building strong relationships with our existing and potential global clients;
· communication with our local or US based technical and commercial departments in case of special customer requirements;
· use own technical knowledge pro-actively to promote the technical aspects/benefits of company products to secure the sale;
· provide monthly business reports to the Management for projects being quoted and worked on;
· liaise with our ‘Agents & Partners’ to ensure common goals for achieving greater sales for the company.

Job requirements

Skills & Competences:
· technical background, with a bias for mechanical or welding applications;
· passion for commercial activities, Customer orientated;
· good and clear communication;
· capability to coordinate and communicate with internal as well as external stakeholders (sales, finance, purchasing, transport & custom, logistics…);
· strong ability to use own initiative;
· demonstrate pro-activeness;
· excellent knowledge of English (every other language is a plus);
· knowledge of Microsoft office such as Word and Excel is a must, knowledge of SAP is a plus;
· respecting cultural differences and act flexible as required for global operations.

About the company

Our client is the industry's largest manufacturer of specialized pipeline construction, automatic welding equipment, Field Joint Coating (PIH) and Inspection services (globally) with a large fleet to support its customer base either for onshore or the subsea pipeline industry and is bases in Zeewolde.
