We are looking for an experienced Material Handler for one of the most progressive vehicle brands in the world based in Tilburg. As Material Handler, you will be part of the Product Distribution Center (PDC) Team, which is based in Tilburg. The team provides parts to all the Service center and body shops in EMEA and works closely with our global organization to maintain correct stock levels.
The PDC has several sub-departments; inbound, outbound and inventory.
As Material Handler you will be multifunctional for both inbound and outbound.
While you work on inbound assignments, you will be taking care of all incoming goods. You can be assigned for several tasks such as but not limited to unloading containers, inspect, repack and register goods. You will also take care of storing the good in the correct location.
When you will be working on the outbound side of our PDC, then you will be taking care of all outgoing goods. Tasks that can be assigned to you can be but are not limited to order picking, inspecting and packing goods.
With your eye for detail and constant focus, you make sure that all goods are processed in the right way and that not even the tiniest scratch passes your inspection. Everything is done with the team’s goal in mind, which is to ensure that all the Service Centers and body shops are receiving their goods within the set timeframes, in perfect shape, and in the correct quantities.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
Receiving goods according to the available instructions;
Sorting and (re-)packing of the (individual) parts;
Checking of the received goods;
Book the received goods into the system;
Transfer the received goods to the ‘to storage area’;
Perform the storage process according to the PDC and safety guidelines;
Picking of orders according to the PDC and safety instructions and within the required timeframe;
Checking of the picked goods and/or fulfill in the system;
Packing orders according to legal and customs requirements. Perform additional tasks related to the creation of the complete shipments such as weight, measure, (re)stacking, labeling, sealing, etc.;
During the full process, check for the right documentation and communicate/escalate in case of discrepancies;
Ensure work- and storage areas are clean and organized;
Follow-up on all health and safety regulations.

Your salary will start at €11,39 before taxes and you will receive standard a shift allowance f 114%. You will build up 25 vacation days and 13 extra ADV days (on fulltime base).
Recent experience in a warehouse/distribution center environment, ideally 1 year or more;
Have an excellent eye for details and the ability to remain fully focused while performing repetitive work;
Experience working with Microsoft office programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel;
Experience with warehouse management/ERP systems and external shipping software would be beneficial;
Good communication skills in the English language as well as the ability to follow instructions -both oral and written-;
Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with all stakeholders;
Experience with Lean Continuous Improvement is a plus.
Flexibility towards a fast-changing environment and processes as well as flexibility towards working in shifts on diverse times (morning, afternoon, evening, sometimes also in the weekend) and travel based on business needs;
High school diploma or equivalent experience. Other relevant certifications are a plus;
Valid Reach truck and/or Forklift certificates are a plus (otherwise the willingness to learn it and get the certificate(s).
Working in a 2-shift organization (this can become 3, 4 or 5 shifts in the future).
