In the role of operational planning support you are responsible for making sure that the air traffic control team are rostered and planned as efficient as possible. You will do this together with a team of 8 professionals, all with their own role within the team. Furthermore, during your role as an operational planning support you are going to be occupied with the following tasks:

  • Support the team in making sure that there will be a timely preparation, maintenance and delivery of the roster plans as support to the operational staff;
  • Prepare reports and extract statistical data when required;
  • Planning the duties for a large number of operational staff, this has to be done in a precise manner that is in line with pre-set requirements;
  • Pro-actively anticipate and identify potential staffing planning issues and assist in finding suitable alternatives or solutions;
  • Provide any other planning support to related activities as required.

Job requirements

To be eligible for the role of operational planning support, you must comply to the following job requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year relevant professional experience and at least a post-secondary education;
  • Knowledge in resource management such as planning and rostering. Apart from that, knowledge of planning tools is also a plus;
  • You are communicative and have a pro-active attitude. Next to that you are a problem solver, you can perform well under pressure and have a keen eye for quality and details;
  • Ability to work in a multinational and multicultural environment;
  • Good knowledge of the English language, preferably on C1/C2 level;
  • Professional conduct in line with the corporate behaviours of the Agency, i.e. result driven, customer focus and readiness to change.
