We are looking for a full time German Regional Customer Service Managerin Rotterdam. The job holder manages the customer service for the Business Unit (Germany / Austria) and is leading the Customer Service team of the BU. You will work with Customer Service Coordinator(s) to provide a single point of contact based on a one stop shop philosophy for customers and colleagues for all order fulfilment issues relating to a nominated Business Unit/territory. You will manage orders related to distribution from BV and other warehouses (like Lyn), deliveries from company’s factories (like PIA) and deliveries from external suppliers (like Cofrusa and Saico) to final BV customers are covered.You will advise both internal and external contacts of any issue regarding stock availability and delivery and take corrective action as appropriate / ensure corrective action is carried out.

The job holder will ensure that the day to day order fulfilment process is planned effectively and managed efficiently for the accounts of the nominated territory. KPIs will be monitored; periodic operational meetings will be scheduled with warehouses, suppliers and third party hauliers (in cooperation with the Manager Customer Service & Distribution Europe and colleagues from other territories). The Regional Customer Service Manager will control the KPIs, analyse performance versus plan, identify root cause for variances and agree corrective actions, set priorities, solve issues, lead the Customer Service team of the territory and will ensure sufficient/appropriate level of cover of the department.

What we offer

  • Start date immediately (a notice period of the candidate is no problem).
  • Salary is between € 3200 and € 3500 based on fulltime (36 hours) , however part time (4 days) is optional.
  • The company’s hours are 36 hours.
  • German is a must for this position.

Applicants who do not speak German and do not have similar experience will not be considered for this role.

Job requirements

  • Have higher vocational education (HBO), preferably in business administration.
  • Good communication – verbal and written.
  • Customer empathy.
  • SAP / Excel /EDI experience.
  • Planning and data analysis.
  • At least 3-5 year work experience, preferable within Customer Service FMCG of a professional organisation.
  • Excellent command of English and near(native) in the German language.
