To perform activities in the area of technical safety and quality your main tasks are:
Support engineers in the definition of engineering practices (e.g. DevOPS);
Support technical risk assessments (FMEA);
Support process definitions (textually and process flows);
Promote the use of modern tools for process support across the organisation;
Conduct internal audits to improve processes;
Develop and deliver internal training.
The Safety and Quality Support Officer is mainly responsible for drawing processes and process descriptions(textually and process flows) with regard to several safety and quality measures within the organisation. Moreover you are responsible for controlling and supporting the tooling with regard to process descriptions. Seeking for updates and improvements is basically one of your main tasks. You will work in the quality team in the Safety, Quality and Security (SQS) unit. The quality team supports all of MUAC and consists of 8 staff members with software engineering and business process management background. The SQS unit manages the Maastricht Management System, which is an integrated safety, quality and security management system certified against ISO 9001:2015 and regulation (EU) 2017:373.

Higher technical or IT education;
Experience from a software development, verification or assurance team;
Preferably experienced in auditing ISO processes, programming, testing and quality checking;
Excellent English skills (verbally and in writing);
Good tooling skills (E.g. MS Office including MS Visio, configuration management tools).
