About the job

We are looking for a temporary full time Dutch Customer Clearance Clerk in Rotterdam who speaks excellent English. German would be a pre. You will prepare customs documents and other customs related documentation, process files in the business systems, contact with various parties such as customs and any additional administrative activities.

  • Track of Exit/ Entry documents/ Refund application.
  • Preparation of Customs bills.
  • Handle various Authority inspections(Customs, Municipality, Ministry etc)
  • Know-how of AUH Customs formalities.
  • Manage all Export and Import related issues with Customs/ Airport warehouse.
  • Coordination with customer service unit/ warehouse/ transporters till final delivery.
  • Filing system maintenance, knowledge of Softpak is an advantage and in possession of the Declarant diploma (obtained via EVO-FENEDEX).

In addition, as a clerk you also work for (inter) national customers and the tax representation is carried out by the department. You work very closely in the team with your three experienced clerks and one assistant clerk. The remuneration for this position is in line with the market and is partly determined on the basis of experience. In addition, it is supplemented with excellent extra benefits, such as a good collective labor agreement and 30 vacation days. A challenging initially temporary job.Easy to access by public transport or by car. Informal team of four colleagues. A salary between € 2,800.00 - € 3,500.00

Job requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of practical custom clearance experience.
  • Candidate should have contacts and established professional working relationship with customs officials.
  • Knowledge of Export/ Import formalities and documentation.
  • Native Dutch, excellent English and German a pre.
