Short description of the department’s objectives in general:

The Inside Sales department is taking care of the commercial activities from a back-office perspective, and works side-by-side with the outside sales team (ASMSs). It aims to contribute to an increase in profitability, turnover, and customer loyalty for the organization. In general, on a day-to-day basis, it takes care of coordinating customer orders and answering customer questions on a commercial and technical level. The department also supports the Area Sales Managers with activities that increase our level of service, by sending and performing follow up on samples, handling complaints and providing good accessibility of the Sales department by telephone and email. Prospecting activities are also important, in order to expand sales.

The job:

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) has commercial responsibility and may autonomously manage designated accounts in accordance with internal guidelines. He / she will strive to achieve the commercial targets set for — but not limited to — these designated accounts. A target-based bonus system is part of the remuneration package for this function. The ISR is also the commercial and technical support person for all our customers, prospects and our outside sales colleagues (ASM). The work consists of: the pro-active approach of (potential) customers, calculation and issue of quotations, pro-active follow up on quotations and samples, handling of enquiries, and sales administration, amongst others. The most Important role of the ISR is increasing profitability, turnover and customer loyalty for the organization, besides functioning as a general contact person for our (potential) customers. The ISR represents the organization in all contacts with the (potential) customer, and seeks to achieve a win-win situation for both parties. This means
the ISR sells him- or herself twice, Le. both to the (potential) customer and within the organization.

Salaris tussen de €2500-2700 euro obv en 40-urige werkweek.

Functie eisen

Knowledge:
-minimum educational level MBO+ e strong commercial skills
-fluent in Dutch and a bit of English
-experience or affinity with (inside) sales activities
-affinity with the use of CRM tools (experience with Account View is preferable)
-affinity with administrative processes
-ability to learn quickly about our products

Tasks:
-researches and analyzes account information and sales data
-builds up and maintains a strong relationship with designated accounts e _calculates price offers in accordance with internal guidelines
-issues quotations to designated accounts
-cooperates with ASMs to develop each region successfully
-executes sample requests for designated accounts and other (potential) customers e executes and coordinates the resolution of customer complaints
-pro-actively approaches (potential) customers by telephone and/or email
-provides accessibility for the sales department on incoming telephone calls and emails
-supports the Area Sales Managers on commercial and technical questions (when needed) e answers commercial, technical and logistics questions from (potential) customers-
updates customer, article and price databases

Responsibilities:
-investigate and understand what customers need and want e achievement of commercial targets for designated accounts
-offer calculations and issue of quotations for designated accounts e incoming and outgoing telephone calls and emails
-accurate input of prices and customer information e expand sales activities at (potential) customers
-prospecting (selection of prospects and cold-calling)
-communicating relevant information about customers to the outside sales team e internal communication and coordination with other departments
