For an international technical company in Rotterdam we are looking for a full time Customer Service Representative who will be fully dedicated for the Benelux market. For this position it is important that someone speaks Dutch and English both fluently. You will provide internal and external customers with an efficient sales support service, receive and process incoming orders promptly and accurately, prepare and issue all related documentation, ensure Customer Orders are updated in line with reality and approach customers proactively to receive forecasts or delivery schedules, maintain good communication lines with Customers, Sales and Production Plants and external service providers.


Sales Support & Customer Service

  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Direct other customer enquiries to the correct sales or technical manager.
  • Keep regular contact with Sales and agents.
  • Monitor and update agreements with internal customers to ensure all necessary services are provided.

Order Processing

  • Receive written orders from customers, Sales or agents.
  • Check credit status of the customer.
  • Perform credit control and assist with cash collection as necessary.
  • Allocate material to customers based on sales forecasts and availability.
  • Issue order confirmation.
  • Issue invoices and other documentation e.g. certificates of analysis, safety data sheets.
  • Maintain records of running/open orders, delivery dates etc.

Wat we bieden

  • Full time , 40 hours (working hours from 08:00 till 16:30 or 08:30 till 17:00)
  • Start date immediately.
  • Salary between € 2400-€ 3000 gross per month depending on experience.
  • 13th month.
  • Travel costs are fully reimbursed.
  • Overtime hours are paid.
  • 13 ADV days extra holidays.
  • First contract will be through Unique.

Functie eisen

  • MBO+/HBO work and way of thinking level.
  • Good communication – verbal and written.
  • Customer empathy.
  • At least 2 year work experience, preferable within Customer Service of a professional organisation.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, French is a plus
