The role: In consultation with the Warehouse Manager the Supervisor manages and monitors the operational warehouse activities such as the incoming and outgoing flow of goods and the value added service activities if applicable. If necessary, improve the efficiency of the process.
The Supervisor leads a team of +/- 50-80 employees, and is responsible for controlling and monitoring the operational warehouse activities. He/she is responsible for the supervision, control and training of the employees reporting to him or her and responsible for the planning of the employees within the department.
The supervisor will be responsible for the proper registration of work done.
The supervisor will be responsible for the warehouse Interior and the internal transport material in general.
The supervisor has the power to approve leave-/working hours (in consultation with the Warehouse manager), to do commission and approve overtime and performance appraisals. The supervisor is authorized to report the need for competent (flex) personnel to the Warehouse manager at changes in the need for (temporary) personnel
Partly responsible for a correct inventory management and the registration procedures including the correct identifying and registering of the products in the available systems. Also solving problems belongs to the 1st line inventory tasks. Consultations can be found regularly with the Inventory Analyst and the problems are reported directly to the Warehouse Manager.
Controlling his/her entire team and ensure optimal planning of work and human resources available. Motivating, controlling, assessing and coaching/training staff.
Monitor and supervise compliance with rules and regulations in the field of quality, health & safety, environment, security, theft prevention, presence-, hours registration and work overtime. The Warehouse Supervisor has the responsibility for a clean, safe and representative Department.
At the beginning of the daily shift information transmission regarding the progress and planning of the work.
Regularly conducting team meetings with his entire team or parts thereof, so that a good communication is guaranteed.
Recording these discussions and in writing this report to the Warehouse Manager.
Active consultation and consult with colleagues about ideas for improving the warehouse process.
At peak load to provide all work within the Warehouse.

Your salary will be between €3.000 / 3.500 (depends on your experience) and you will receive standard a shift allowance f 114%. You will build up 25 vacation days and 13 extra ADV days (on fulltime base).
