As Work Preparer you support the AIT Managers in the coordination of the projects and the production activities in the preparatory phase, in such a way that the assembly and testing of our products run in a timely and efficient manner. Besides you are the expert in the use of the logistic information system (Trimergo & ERP system) to support the projects, problems are discussed with key-users and you solve them. Necessary logistical matters of the projects including work instructions are facilitated by you. You can chair the logistical meeting of a project and you contribute to improvements.
Sometimes you are temporarily assigned to a specific project team to execute logistical matters, for example set up a project correctly in the logistic information system. You coordinate with Engineering and support Procurement to monitor and enable timely delivery of materials. Together with the Logistics and Procurement department, you maintain the common stock of shelf life items and general parts like fasteners.
You are the driving force in introducing and supervising digital improvement projects related to production. Further you are involved in setting up and maintaining key performance indicators for the AIT department. The use of the maintenance system and the administration of the lifting and hoisting equipment is your responsibility. Also, you report to finance in order to charge the use of AIT facilities to projects. If necessary, you prepare workshop orders, work instructions and procedures for assembly and test activities.
You have completed a relevant MBO education supplemented with 3 years of relevant work experience. You have demonstrable knowledge in the field of logistics and work preparation. In addition, experience with mechanical or electrical production techniques and drawing systems. You master the English language in speaking and writing and you have knowledge of software tools such as MS-Office, MS-Project, SAP, ERP systems.
