What exactly are you going to do

As a receptionist, you are the welcoming face of an international organization based in The Hague. Your role goes beyond greeting visitors—you create a positive and professional first impression for everyone who walks through our doors. By ensuring smooth operations across three locations, you contribute to a seamless experience for colleagues, visitors, and external partners alike.

Your responsibilities include:
  • Greeting and guiding visitors with a warm and professional approach, ensuring they feel welcome and valued.
  • Answering inquiries and providing accurate information to employees and external parties.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail, as well as coordinating meeting room bookings.
  • Supporting administrative tasks such as managing schedules and processing data in internal systems.
  • Adapting to different locations and ensuring smooth operations wherever you are needed.

What do we offer you

  • A salary of €16.04 per hour.
  • A temporary contract with the possibility of a permanent position.
  • A part-time workweek of 24 hours, with a minimum of 20 hours per week.
  • Travel expense reimbursement to support your commute.

  • A start date in January 2026, giving you ample time to prepare.

Job Requirements

We are seeking a professional receptionist with international experience and strong communication skills to represent our organization in The Hague.

  • Minimum 3 years' experience, including 1 year internationally.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Willingness to undergo an AIVD screening.
  • MBO 3 diploma in a relevant field.
