As a senior medewerker logistiek, you will contribute to the smooth coordination and execution of warehouse activities at our production facility in Nieuwkoop. Your role involves managing internal transport, maintaining order and safety, and driving process improvements. You will also act as a key point of contact for communication between the back office and external logistics providers. This position requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.

What You Will Do:

• Coordinate: the movement of pallets from the production line to the warehouse and ensure efficient stacking and storage according to guidelines.
• Oversee: the loading and unloading of trucks while adhering to safety protocols and aligning priorities with the back office team.
• Maintain: a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, including proper waste management and periodic inventory counts.
• Support: production by assisting with quality checks, simple machine operations, and ensuring the availability of necessary materials like pallets and trays.
• Lead: improvement initiatives for warehouse processes, manage inventory of materials, and supervise warehouse layout and organization.

We are seeking a detail-oriented logistics professional with a proactive mindset and strong organizational skills to join our dynamic team.

• MBO-level education, preferably in logistics or technical fields.
• Experience in warehouse management or production support is a plus.
• Valid forklift certification.
• Ability to work accurately and in a structured manner.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Problem-solving skills and resilience under pressure.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving goods when needed.
• Basic knowledge of food safety standards.
• Proficiency in English, with Dutch preferred.
