Warehouse Operator - GLS

As a Warehouse Operator, you contribute to the smooth running of the logistics process within our warehouse. You combine operational tasks with a supporting role towards the team and the assistant team leader. Thanks to your accuracy and ability to maintain overview, you help ensure that daily operations run efficiently and in a structured manner. No two days are the same, and your contribution makes a real difference to the success of the team.

As a Warehouse Operator, you will have more responsibility than a standard warehouse position. You are not directly managing the team, but you do help monitor daily operations and support colleagues where needed.

What you will do:

• Monitor daily warehouse activities and help maintain a structured working environment
• Support the assistant team leader with coordinating tasks
• Seal boxes and prepare shipments for dispatch
• Scan packages and process them in the system
• Support colleagues where necessary
• Help maintain overview and structure on the work floor
• Perform sorting activities when needed

Working Hours
As a Warehouse Operator, you will work an average of 8 hours per day in rotating shifts. The working hours are approximately:

• 04:00 AM – 01:00 PM
• 12:00 PM – 09:00 PM

Working hours may still change.

As a Warehouse Operator, you will have a varied position with more responsibility than a standard warehouse role. You will work within an international logistics organization where teamwork, efficiency, and maintaining overview are key. You can expect:

• A salary between €2,650 and €3,169 gross per month, depending on experience
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer
• 8% holiday allowance
• Prospect of a permanent contract

For the position of Warehouse Operator, we are looking for someone who likes to roll up their sleeves and take responsibility. You maintain overview on the work floor, work accurately, and know how to get things done. Reliability is very important to us: keeping agreements and being on time come naturally to you. In addition, you work well with others and feel comfortable in a dynamic logistics environment.
